Un año más / One more year

Reunir a los amigos para celebrar el cumpleaños es algo que siempre hace ilusión, pero claro.. llega un punto en el que piensas; no se conocen entre ellos, no se si van a hablar, no quiero que se aburran, etc. A ver, para qué engañarnos? Jovenes, música, comida y alcohol.. es la combinación perfecta.

Meet your friends to celebrate your birthday is something that everybody loves, but.. it comes a point when you think; they don’t know each other, I don’t know if they’re gonna talk, I don’t want them to get bored, etc. Ok, let’s be realistic. Young people, music, food and alcohol.. is the best combination.

Vale, lo acepto. Soy la primera en llegar de las últimas (Segun como se mire..uno siempre puede ser el primero en algo. haha) y por eso pienso que los puntuales tienen derecho a esperar con unas buenas patatas fritas y aceitunas bien aliñadas. En este caso las puse con aceite, limón, naranja y romero.

Ok, I accept it. I’m the first one being late (Depending how you see it..one can always be the first on something. haha) and that’s why I think that punctual ones can wait with good fried potatoes and well seasoned olives.

Cuando llegaron todos, empezaron con los huevos rellenos de patata, mostaza, mayonesa y caviar y la vichisoise con jamón ibérico.

When all of them arrived, they began eating eggs stuffed with potato, mustard, mayonnaise and caviar and the vichisoise with iberic ham.

Siguieron con tortitas mejicanas y fondue de verduritas y carne con diferentes salsas.
They went on with mexican pancakes and a fondue of vegetables and meat with different sauces.

Salmón ahumado con queso cremoso y un poquito de miel… y directos a los postres.
Smoked salmon with cream cheese and a little bit of honey… and directly to desserts.

Flan de coco y galletas de chocolate amargo.
Coconut custard and chocolate biscuits.
